I mean ya hear about it, but never think you’ll actually know a guy that does it….

Legendary stuff, like the guy that finishes a bottle of vermouth.
    I have emptied two bowls.

Mike I have used 5 jars. Pretty much use it exclusively for the last 7 years. Shaving every day gets me a little over a year, with the water here in Memphis I only need to swirl the brush 3-4 times, I get plenty lather from that so it may go further, but yes 7 years 5 jars.

U still use a couple others, but my soap journey is way over, found what I like and the performance never changes. Couple that soap with a great brush and the search was over.

Shaving every day. That’ll do it.
I can go three days between shaves, albeit scruffy and have three tubs on the go so maybe that’s why they seem to last forever.
Original, lemon, and fougere, of which I do favor the lemon most often.
You are right though, a good Shavemac knot and some MdC, predictable lather and great results every shave.
Their shaving soap is no longer on sale but their traditional soaps, also awesome, are on for 30%off right now, FYI.

I haven't tried the MDC citrus, how does it compare scent wise to Castle Forbes Lime?

It’s more of a lemon/citron, it’s sweeter, and not as strong as CF lime. Very pleasant, but if you want a strongly scented soap, this isn’t it, according to the two jars that I have.

    Cheers, Steve
I was going to buy some but CF lime is so refreshing and has such a great lime scent I just brought some more.
