Unfortunately, I had a similar reaction to MWF/Kent...

It really does, I just got a sample of it and the after shave lotion it smells wonderful. Cant wait to try it. However my new favorite is TOBS Eton College. Got a sample of it as well. Think when I put in the order this week I am going to take the plunge and get the whole set of TOBS preshave, cream and aftershave.
Hmmm... all this Castle Forbes talk had given me an apetite for a new tub of their shaving cream. Not that I need another soap or cream, but what do you people say Limes or Lavender this time?
That's the one I've had in the past. I think I only owned the limes once. I know the general theme here and on other forums in similar situations is to "get both" and believe me, I am tempted!
Just wondering what else will go well with my MdC Fougere and XPEC (scented, current version).
Lavender, but CF is great stuff in any flavor, I,m just hit a line fan. Tc
Thanks y'all!
Muy wallet feels lighter already... :)
So I have now tried the Farmacia Santissima Annunziata Agrumi Shaving Soap, and is it superb, the bouquet of this soap is tremendous, full, robust and touches both high and low notes, from citrus to the bergamot to the light touch of the eucalyptus, I have not been more pleased with a soap since I first experienced my first use of Castle Forbes Lavender - it is that good in my opinion.
If there was a soap that you could describe as summer, bright, warm, vibrant, this would be it.:D
I plan on using this soap for the next few shaves, if it's anything like the Isos shave soap, this soap will continue to develop and become even more robust. Thick lather, great cushion, whips up in the scuttle very easily - excellent performer.
On a whim, I matched it up with Santa Maria Novella Patchouli aftershave, and my wife and daughter thought it was quite really nice.
If you're a soap aficionado - this is a must try IMO.... ;)
Gentlemen, where can one obtain this little piece of heaven, I am very curious.
