Thought I'd mention what a stellar concentrated shaving cream, although feels like a hard soap, Klar Seifen - Heidelberg, the Shaving Soap in a Tin is....what an absolute Tier 1 this soap is in every respect.

Was getting some samples ready, and also wanted to do a test shave for some freshly honed razors, and brought this soap out.

I had forgotten the thick rich lather that virtually creates itself, the fine fresh clean smell and it's made from natural plant-based extracts, herbal and fruit essences, that give it a bouquet that is really out of this world, just blooms into the nose.

One of those soaps that just makes you go, "Ahhhhh......sweet!!!" as you lather.

This soap just moved to the counter, sometimes you need to come back to a soap to really appreciate how outstanding it is.

I've heard really good things about Klar Kabinett, too.

Yea, think it was on Obie's original T1 listings, think I'm going to give this a 4 or 5 Day run....

    Gentlemen,

Klar Seifen is a superb soap. The clean and soapy fragrance is laced with a touch of flowers. Moisture, cushion and glide are stellar. I love this soap, even though I have not used it for a while. Klar Kabinett, no longer made, from what I understand, had a delightful barbershop scent with a touch of rose. Good stuff, all this.

agreed. great soap. the tin is a little too small though so i grate-n-press it into a larger tin for easier loading. one of the first soaps i ever got and still one of my go-to favorites.

I know it doesn't really agree with you Obie, as the many heated debates with Robin attests to, but I've recently acquired some Meiβner Tremmonia (Dark Limes and Gentle Menthol) and I'm extremely impressed with it. Henceforth, it will form part of my regular rotation.

Klar seifen is practically all I have been using for the past year. The puck lasts a long time, produces rich lather and is great for travel, a winner in my books.

What is particularly convenient is that it is available in Canada.

I love Klar Seifen. The rich lather can't be beat, and I'm hooked on the clean scent, and therefore also team it with the AS and EdT. I don't like the small puck, and grate it into a large container. I've read that it's milled five times, therefore lasts "forever." It's tier three all the way for me, and will always be in my rotation.

    Gentlemen,

I, too, grate the Klar Seifen puck into a larger tub. Either way, it's a great soap and I love it.

Klar is a great soap. I just use a smaller brush and keep the soap in its original container.
