Gentlemen,
PannaCrema Nuavia Blu makes a rich and fragrant lather. I wouldn't call it thin, but it does not produce the thick lather that, say, Tabac produces, or Cella. Yet, the Nuavia Blu lather is rich enough and slick enough to mitigate the slightly thin lather. By thin I don't mean anemic; it just doesn't lay down a heavy carpet of lather. Either way, the soap is good stuff. And I love the scent, too.

I don't care for the current Floris soap formulations. Now, if you can get your hands on some vintage Floris, that's a terrific soap. However, the No. 89 cream is excellent.
Many people love PannaCrema. I didn't care for the scents, and found the performance only mediocre, and ended up selling mine. The bowls are very attractive, however, but unfortunately there are no refills.
The best soap that I've ever used is the new tallow formulation of JabonMan Eufros. It's now in the number 1 spot of my top tier soaps. I can't imagine a better performing soap. Manuel's new Sandalwood scent, made with the real and expensive essential oils, is outstanding (I'm stocking up on it).Richard

I ordered what I thought was the white boxed old formulation of the 89 from Atkinson's in Vancouver, they sent the new formulation - do not care for it at all.
Have to try the creams I guess.
@GreenRipper - the DR Harris hard soaps are spectacular, I have them all, with Windsor being my favourite....top rated performer.
I love Penhaligon's English Fern, and of course a universal favourite, Penhaligon's Sartorial hard soaps, they are also a Top Tier manufacturer IMO.Last edited by Phrank; 05-06-2017 at 06:58 PM.

Thanks for chiming in on the lather, Obie!
Usually when I first try a new soap, I tend to load heavily and then use a bit more water and thus my first use usually isn't a great indicator of a soap's lather sweet spot (usually takes me about 3 or so uses to really dial in a new soap), so I appreciate your assessment of PC's lather, Obie.
The slickness of the PC was great, Phrank--I did an ATG pass today and the soap really stood out there, especially with the blade I used! I'm with you on enjoying thick lathers--I especially enjoy these lather's cushion when I'm shaving with an aggressive DE.
The PC Blu scent reminded me a lot of a nice cinnamon/nutmeg aroma; it wasn't overly strong or cloying and for me it was relaxing and quite pleasant. I hear ya on pulling the trigger for these soaps--I waffled for awhile, too. Perhaps give Shave Dash's samples a try to see if you like PC's scent (Products - ShaveDash.com). I'm guessing all 3 plus shipping will come in at around 25 or so CAD.

Glad I could help lead you down the path of perdition, Phrank! Dash has one of the best sample selections around! If you decide to order the PC and go for all 3, your order should qualify for free shipping directly from PC (it's a touch slow, mine came via FedEx, they pack everything well, and it was the overall best price I found)....
What, me be an enabler, Cuda?
Oi, know whatcha mean Dave...in fact, many SRP threads have had a negative cash-flow impact on my wallet.
