Default my first impression thoughts on some samoles ive tried recently

i while back i got a shipment of a bunch of sample creams, these are my initial thoughts and observations on them.

TOBS lemon and lime: wonderful easily built lather, nice citrus smell, and a good slick feel. i would buy this even though it doesnt have a cooling feel on my face.

SIMPSONS citrus burst: decent lather, little extra water, mild citrus scent, real nice slick feel, nice product but the csent wasnt really my favorite so i dont think id pick this up.

CHISELED FACE summer storm: this cream was more like a paste, it was VERY dense, once i worked the "chunk" of crem a little it made a great lather, it has a nice out in the rain smell. it was a ittle bit warming on my face which im not a big fan of as it didnt agree with my skin. nice product just not for me.

SIMPSONS vanilla rose: nice feel on my skin, very floral scent, dried out pretty fast, more water required, had to work for the lather a little. i would give this a second look.

TOBS lavender: nice soft feel, very much a lavender scent, real nice glide, all together a nice experience.i would buy this

CHISELED FACE orange creamsicle: very dense, nice smell not real citrusy, very smooth shave, has a cooling feel on the face, i would buy this.

SIMPSONS lavender and vetivert: calming scent, dried out a little. quite dense, needed more water and still not a great slickness. i wont buy this.

PHOENIX sandelwood: EXTREMELY dense, dried out quickly and more than once, good scent, nice slickness when drowned in water, i wont buy this

ST JAMES lavender and geranium: real slick, nice smell, not very lavenderish, i liked this i would buy it.

PHOENIX club guy: nice slickness, good smell, a little warming on my face, very dense but it didnt dry out, i would give this a second look.

i know these are not very in depth, but its just a first impression. notes, if you will, that i can look back on later. just thought id share with others

Thanks for the notes! This makes me want to buy some Simpsons and confirms that TOBS is super consistent and one of my favorite companies.

I have tried the Chisled Face Orange Creamsicle and frankly it was nothing like the name. The menthol is IMO over the top and kills the scent. The scent itself is a lot sweeter than what it should be, I can barly discern the orange in it. I think better scent in that profile is Pharao's Dreamsicle by Sterling. Back to Chisled face, I found the performance to be average.
