Yeah, I think USPS should merge with the Canadian postal service but that is just wishful thinking. It's all on the same chunk of dirt!

Yep , shipping and all 3 jars was 140 and change US so yes it's like getting one free as opposed to buying two from old town,, guess I got a six year supply now,, but that's ok it's is my number one go to soap ,, I'll never complain about having too much , I've seen some good soaps disappear before. So thanks for the heads up.
As to the free shipping it was only offered for a but to new customers and apparently when I looked them up a couple of years ago I made an account, but with the account the products were discounted Oh well, still a cheap day for me when I order shaving products. Last time I was at the Harley dealer it was much much more. Tc

    Gents,

Just got my two jars yesterday, just like you said, way more economical to go through the MdC directly.
They tend to throw a sample or two of their other products. I agree the shipping is pricey but at least they backed out VAT.
Shaved with MdC this am, what a soap - so excited!

Yes, I got a Sample bar of soap which has my master bathroom smelling nice. At first I thought it was Penhalgons but I remember now, it is the MdC.

OK, took awhile for the coin to drop as I was wondering about what exchange rates had to do with shipping. I meant you are lucky as it takes about $1.50 CAD/AUD to buy a EURO and the Kiwis have to pay about $1.60 NZD for a EURO. Not all dollars are equal.

The shipping to Canada is likely the same or close as for the US as it all comes out of France and has little to with our postal services.

Main thing is it was a lot cheaper to order from MdC instead of The Old Town Shaving Co.

My order came, much quicker than expected. Well packaged. Now my question is...I like my soap and aftershave/cologne to complement each other. Does anyone have a recommendation for coordinating with the fern (fougere) scent?

Yes shipping was quick 6 days from order to the knock on the door to sign for it. Great service from all the way across the pond. So in about 6 years I,ll call them again! Well maybe not that long. Wife wants the bath soaps now , grandsons got a jar and so on and so on. Tc
