    I read that Pears Soap has been in production since 1789.

    Col Conk has been around since the mid-late 1800s. Of course the current ownership has nothing to do with the original owner.

    I think De Vergulde Hand from Holland is a strong canidate to this, (1554), or Santa Maria De novella from Italy around the same year.
