    Default crabtree and evelyn

I was recently given a nomad shave soap in a wooden bowl by crabtree and evelyn. I was wondering if anybody here has tried this soap and what their thoughts were on it

I recently purchased the Nomad cream and it is worth every penny. C&E soaps lather up really nice and lubricate well throughout the entire shave. You will not be disappointed.

I had great experiences with c&e creams but I found their soaps to be impossible to work with. If you build up a proper lather, it dries out in mid pass, without looking like it dried out.

I see what you mean about the soap drying up. Is there anything I can do about that or should I just find a new soap?

I ended up using mine as a bath soap. Two of our members -- Colleen (churley) and Giovanni (tryphon) make excellent soaps that you should look into.
Colleen -- Great glide, nice strong scents
Giovanni -- Superb lather, more neutral, fresh scents
You can't go wrong either way.

You can dip the brush tips in some hot water and re-wet as needed. I'll probably end up using mine as bath soap too since there's always a better soap or cream around to shave with. Nice scent though, I have the Sienna.
