    Default Proaso ?

I love Proaso green in the tube and want to get some red,is there any difference between the cream in the tube and the harder soap in the tub as far as performance and scent ?

The Proraso green cream in the tube and the Proraso green soap in the tub should be exactly the same, although some people report that the cream in the tube provides a slicker lather... Not sure I would agree with this since I have tried both and they seem virtually the same performance/scent wise.

Not sure I agree with that, I've used both quite a bit years ago when I found them , they are a good basic soap, but the tub did not give me the same lather, maybe I should have worked it more cause it is not a cream like the tube is, let's just say I liked the cream results better, nothing really wrong with the tub. I moved on once you found soaps I liked better but it was in my gag for 8-10 years, also the tubes are what I generally give new guys starting out cause it's cheap and the lather from the cream is idiot proof. Thanks, being in Alaska has a few challenges like some folks won't ship flat rate usps ,I guess they don't realize it cost the same as mailing to your next door neighbor.Soaps I can get locally are limited to williams and VDH .I get most of my soaps from amozon .The wife loves sandalwood and from what I understand proaso's sandalwood is a great scent. There are some top shelf soaps available on Amozon I just hate paying through the nose for them.

If you like sandalwood Proraso is a very good one. Like I said nothing wrong with it., I just liked can the tube better, it's the kind of scent that stays with you a little but not overpowering, ya I always made sure I took everything I needed when I worked the slope, didn't want to have to ship anything, tc

I don't have any of the cream in the tube, but I have a barely used tub that I'll send you for free to try out. PM me your address and I'll get it out to you this week.

I have Proraso white, green & red in soaps, blue & red in Cream tube & a red in can goo I got for the young lad
they are all great lather builders
I find the creams lather quicker & are great for the travel bag, but with the right prep they all perform similar.
I have not used the can goo version of the red myself for shaving but it feels like a nice lather in the hands.
