Thanked: 5EZ Blade gel
I apologize if this thread has been made already, but I wanted to give you my thought on the EZ blade gel.
I got the tub shipped to my door for the affordable price of 12 dollars. It came straight from NYC.
Upon receiving the container I first noticed how heavy it is. Very dense stuff. Opened her up and gave it a bit of a nose. At first I was somewhat un pleased, but as I sniffed on here is what I found:
Lemon candy
slight peppermint
lemon merinque-without the pie!
Its a semi-sweet nose. Not bad.
I threw a damp cloth into the micro wave for about 10 seconds or so, let it cool its self while held over my beard and began applying.
The one thing you keep hearing them say about the product is "pre shave oil based"
I am a big time user of pre shave products, so I thought this was right up my ally.
Very easy to apply, you can lay it on thin or thick, I was only chopping down a 1 days growth.
I put a gillette super seven into my cheap shavette and went to work.
WOW, this stuff reeaaaallly gives you some razor glide. I have extremely sensitive skin and I must say the shave was very pleasant. On my less sensitive area if it wasn't for the sound I would not have known I was removing hair.
The stuff was quite easy to clean up as well. I would not recommend using this stuff with a TTO razor, because you do get a line of gel and hair bunched up on the blade, it would definitely gunk up a safety razor I think. If you use shavette or straights (hence where we are) then you should be just fine.
I give it a thumbs up!

So, did you load up a brush or is it a brushless product?

Thanked: 5totally brushless, just rub it into the hair a bit. Not having to use much water is probably the best part, very clean way to shave! I find I am liking the scent more as I use it. You use a very small amount so a brush would probably remove too much at a time.
