Default First Impression Lucky Tiger shave cream

Lucky Tiger products have always drawn my interest because of the retro packaging/labelling and all natural ingredients. Lucked into both the shave cream and AS at discount store while on vacation. Cheap enough to try for S&Gs.

The shave liquid cream bottle makes no mention of using a brush on the label. It really is more liquid than a cream you'd get from a shave cream tube. You can squirt some on your hand and smear on your face, messy, then lather with a brush or for my next try squirt some on a damp brush and then lather. Not a fan of messy.

It has a pleasant mild citrus scent, not Arko strong, and lathers up easily. I got a very slick creamy lather that let the blade glide smoothly are my face for an excellent 4 pass shave. Hey, it really works and better than I expected, bonus.

I'll know better after a week of using it if my initial impression will hold up or not. So far pretty impressed though.

I still use the aftershave tonic in the winter, I've had Lucky Tiger for years, it's kinda like the Pinaud stuff it's nostalgic for me. Tc

Nothing wrong with a little nostalgia. It seems to go hand in hand with using a straight razor.

I have just about finished my 6 day run of using this shave cream and can say that it does work very well for me. Using it and the lather it produces is a little different from what I am used to but you can't argue the results. The razor just glides very smoothly and there is good residual slickness. Good enough residual slickness that a second swipe at an already shave section creates no problem for me. A little eccentric but works well.
