How would Fels-Naptha work?
I have tons of Fels-Naptha and Zote soap bars under my sink for making my own laundry detergent.
How would this stuff work as a shaving soap?Realization of the vastness of ones own ignorance is the first step on the path to true wisdom.

I tried some liquid laundry soap for a few days.
It really dried my skin. Went back to Noxema. If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

Thanked: 13245OMG
NOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooo
Just No
Fels-Naptha is bad as a Hand Soap let alone a soap around your face Eyes and Nose, way too harsh
You would have to REALLY really spread it thin inside a mixture to have it anywhere near safe
I am not familiar with Zote
Edit:
Fels - Naptha
The Naptha is Benzene I looked
I keep the stuff in the Laundry room myself, nothing works better for getting stains especially Grease and Oil outta clothes :PLast edited by gssixgun; 07-01-2016 at 02:53 PM.

Kinda' the answers I was expecting, but hey... ya' never know 'til ya' ask!
Zote is pretty much the same thing (serves the same purpose anyway), only it's pink.
I make laundry detergent by mixing equal parts of grated soap, 20 Mule Team Borax, and Washing Soda.Last edited by howdydave; 07-01-2016 at 02:57 AM.

Oh man I thought you were kidding! I use that stuff to intentionally dry the heck out of my skin when I get poison ivy badly, I couldn't imagine shaving with it!
To each his own but sheesh I really suggest not even trying this one just for kicks!

Yeah, we use Fels-Naptha up here in the north country for poison ivy and mosquito bites, works well for that - I would recommend not using it for shaving...HOWEVER,
whats it gonna do? kill you?
report back (if you are able) with how it works if and when you give it whipLast edited by JoelLewicki; 07-01-2016 at 01:19 PM.
