I've been straight shaving for a few months now and DE for longer. I started as most with the mass market soaps( D R Harris, MWF, trumper) I appreciate the quality of them and the longevity of the triple milled but I'm finding the magic is in the artisan soaps. MWF is still high in my rotation but other than that CRSW, Stirlng, Blackship grooming and first Canadian have taken over my life, dealing with the makers has been a great experience across the board, the scents and quality of lathers have been awesome with all of them and I personally love supporting small business. I don't think I'll ever go back to the big makers. Honerable mention to dr. Jons, soapy bathman, barrister and Mann, Henri et Victoria. And by far my favorite after shave is REUZEL aftershave. For all the Canadian guys I've had great experiences dealing with Gentleman's blade out of BC and Canadian blade co. Out of Alberta. That's my opinion and shout out to the great companies in a great shaving community.
