No issues whatsoever by ordering directly. As others mentioned, MDC offers good customer service at very competitive prices.
    Enjoy the soap.
    Cheers.

So good luck some it works for
You won't have any problem giving it away,, everyone else can make it lather, as for glide, not sure what your doing wrong, out of the 100 or so soaps I've used, it's slicker than greased lightning. Tc

I don't recall what 'slip' is in shaving lather. Perhaps 'glide'?
I have not found anything as good as MDC in respect to quality and value, at any price. JMO

    As always, YMMV

I have to agree with tc and sharptonn...I have found no other soap or cream that lathers as well, or provides the cushion and slickness that MDC does. Further, it seems to never disappears from the jar.

I l load and whip up lather once, I usually have enough for 3 passes, and when it comes up next in my rotation, it seems like it has hardly been used. I love it.

Yup - I've taken to using Sharptonn's snurdler most of the time with MdC and a few other creams/croaps...refuse to get nailed again with a brush that feels like it's been dipped in paste cause I've overloaded the MdC....again...tiniest little bit and there's an explosion of lather.

And after being such a devoted fan of the Fougere, I'm really, really taking a huge liking to the Original Scented...can't seem to put the stuff down.

Had a shave the other day, and as my wife pointed out when she wandered downstairs, she asked me what I was muttering under my breath about saying, "... that I could stay with this forever.."

She mistakenly thought I was being sweet and talking about her, had to say, "Sorry sweetie, was just talking about this soap, I think I could actually use this one forever!".

What was even more painful, after she laughed at me, was she said knowing how I'm such a soap dandy, those were some mighty big words and just shook her head and walked upstairs.....

Yes, Phrank, after using the sample of the fougere you were so gracious to send me, It is the same good stuff.

Yet I seem to enjoy the scent of the original more. I think they make an unscented as well?

I suppose the moral to the story is (at least for me) to just use-up and give away as much of the other stuff ASAP so you can use strictly MDC!..Like the French fellows do!

Sharptonn life is too short to drink cheap wine or to fail to shave with MDC.
Proper prior planning prevents piss poor performance.

Allright! Just dumped 110.51 EUR. Whatever THAT means?

Not too bad. Christmas gifts for me and my girls!

(nevermind MINE was more than half of it! )

The ordering process was a leap of faith, however all the checks and balances were there.
    I somehow feel relieved!
I may just retire as I get this!
