Thread: Owwww-ah! It stings!

I tried the D.R.Harris Arlington pre-shave tonic and, damn, it stings!

Proraso is lovely and cool and menthol-y. T&H luxury pre-shave oil is orange-y and, well, oily.

Arlington feels like paint stripper. Smells nice, but it actually hurts. That can't be right, can it? It does, however, leave the beard very 'scrinchy' is how I'd describe it. Like the hair is standing up, and it dries the skin smooth.

Anyone else tried this stuff?

It does give a nice little burn but I love it
