Thread: Two new Martin de Candre scents

Within the past day or so Martin 's Candre has released two newly scented soaps.
From what I've seen it's something that they hardly ever do.
Vetyver (yup that's how they spell it), and Rose. Both are available on their website now.
I'm sure that this will arouse some curiosity and a first hand report will be available soon.

So. That is why they were emailing me. I deleted it without reading.
They got all the dough they are going to get from me for a long while!

Wouldn't be into the rose, but am looking forward to reviews on the Vetyver?

I am hooked on the Martin de Candre original scent, which subtly intoxicates the senses. The vetyver fragrance intrigues me, though. Either way, Martin de Candre is celestial.

The vetyver is probably vetiver which has a woody/earthy smell, very masculine. A wonderful fragrance to me.

Also received the email, and hit the Martin de Candre site as quickly as possible, and am looking forward to trying the Rose and Vetyver.

I PM'd Richard (envpar) and joked that if I end up with 4 different MdC soaps to rotate through, it might seriously impede my Soap Acquisition Disorder.....

I know for a fact that Santa Claus is delivering an MDC original scent and a fougere to my house on Christmas.
I'm also intrigued by the Vetyver scent. I have a couple of other soaps with it and it has become an absolute favorite. To me, the thought of MDC + Vetyver is the ultimate combination.
I think I'm going to have to pop for this one myself.

Mdc has a vetiver edt. Perhaps the new soap matches that scent. Has anyone tried the vetiver edt?

Something to keep in mind:
A little note on the Martin De Candre website where these soaps are shown: "Série Limitée Noël 2016-17"

Thus these "Christmas 2016-17 Limited Editions" may not be available for long.
