Thanked: 9Acqua Di Parma Shaving cream
Well, this is not a normal shaving cream - at least not in my book. It is much more dense and dry than other creams I have tried (Trumper's Rose, Musgo Real, Speick, KMF, Proraso, etc.) Price is also a bit out of the ordinary - $55 for 125g. I did expect something on the higher side (Neiman Marcus, after all) but still was surprised to hear the number.
It does have what I consider a VERY barbershop scent. Actually, I was almost tempted to try it with the Omega (Proraso) boar brush! It also reminds me a bit of Proraso (which I don't like) but in a good way - it's not that it's like it, it just comes from the same Italian barber tradition, I guess. I actually like ADP: less / almost no mint. My wife smelled it and asked "Why do you like it, it smells *like* barber soap?"
Packaged attractively, if you care about this. Lathers very well. Not very moisturizing, imo. For this you might prefer to try Dr. Perricone (they were out of it, but the sample had a nice scent)
I hope you enjoy the photos. If you plan on buying - I'd recommend sampling in person. If you can't get it locally - drop me a line and I'll send you a little to try
Cheers

Not sure if it's available at other stores, I'm sure you can find it online

Awsome photos!
Anyone know if it's possible to get UK samples? I'm going to try some of the more well-known stores in London. Failing that, hope I can get some samples somehow!

One of my favorite creams! Ah...I think i need a new tub, as I only had some (very, very VERY generous samples...thank you to the person who knows who they are!) samples, and I think the last one is just about empty.
I think I'll go order right now.
I have a three cream rotation now, Castle Forbes limes, Nancy Boy Signature, and the ADP.
Great lathering, fantastic cushioning. But i agree, it's not the most moisturizing cream out there.

I bought some over the weekend, but I'm trying to be very firm with myself - using it only when:
- I use up either all of Castle Forbes Lime or all of my remaining puck of Trumper's Rose; both of which I like very much
- I have something very big on; so far I can only think of one thing that important and that's taking Liz Hurley out!

Hmm... can't believe I've not replied to my message about getting/using this cream.
I ended up getting the cream in a tub and the after shave balm cream (part of a left-over Christmas gift set - the Collezione Barbiere).
The cream is SOOOOOOOOOO good!!!!
The scent is a little lighter than the Colonia EDC fragrance, but man when it lathers up, you want to keep lathering and don't want to stop!
In fact, I didn't use it at all last week and I'm already having withdrawal symptoms, so I'm declaring this week Acqua di Parma week!!
