    Default Erasmic shave stick

Found an Erasmic shave stick locally today so naturally I bought it to try out. It appears to be the new version being 75g not 50g. The scent is mild and pleasant. I did a test face lather which seems to indicate it creates a nice rich slick lather. Will add further comments after tomorrow mornings shave. Yes, it has tallow in the ingredients list.

I have 2 sticks. Palmolive and Arko. Both gifted to me by members. One thing is for sure, they lather like nothing else. Mama Bear is now offering sticks too. I was going to try 1 just to see if it's the way it's used or the ingredients that helps create the lather.

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Keep in mind this is a first impression after only one use. I will be using it for a week straight to see if anything changes down the road a bit.

While the Erasmic shave stick did not stop me from getting a smooth comfortable 4 pass straight razor shave, I would rather use Arko, Palmolive or Tabac shave sticks. The Erasmic just did not produce the volume of lather the others do for me but it was slick enough. To be fair it might just be me not being used to lathering it. A weeks worth of use down the road might change that. No complaints otherwise though.

Well, no wonder then that I had an irritation free BBS shave.

Used the Erasmic shave stick a few more times and the verdict for me is give it a pass. You will be able to shave with it but the lather is not the best. I'd still use a Palmolive shave stick or Arko over it.
