    Default First tallow

Today i received my first tallow soap, along with a silver tip and other goodies. I dont want to divulge the brands because i dont want the subject to divert in that direction.

It was such an incredible experience that I have been asking myself all day: Is it just me, or the use of this superb soap "transformed" the edge of my Boker Elite from "pretty good" to MAGNANIMUS???

Does anybody else have had a similar experience?

    Thanx tons...!!!

    Edited title for you

Yeah, tallow soaps are great. Not the only way to fly but great nonetheless.

Tallow soaps are my preference, as well. Nothing beats that thick and creamy lather! Such substance!

For me, it's quite relative. I've used soaps that didn't include tallow that beat certain tallow soaps by leaps and bounds.

I've been using primarily tallow-based soaps and will likely continue to do so because I love them and I'm well stocked up at the moment.

Same with me. Though, I will say, a tallow soap is much less likely to be a dud.

Stirling soaps are some of the best tallow based products around.

I want to thank all of you gentlemen for your input.

But what wanted to know is if any of you experienced an improvement in blade performance because of the tallow soap. I know preparation (pre-shave) is very important. Thats probably my answer right there...!!! Jeje.

I too prefer tallow soaps, although it seems more difficult to rinse off the blade while shaving.
