Thread: Shaving soap in Chicago

I am travelling to Chicago next week for a brief 2 day visit and wanted to buy some shaving soaps (they are near impossible to find here in Tokyo and I get charged an arm and a leg to get it shipped here!)

Anyway, I was after some Tabac soap (refills and bowl) and some of the Taylors soap also. Maybe also some Pacific pre-shave oil.........

Does anyone know of a shop to suggest or one in the region that could send it to a hotel? (Don't know exactly where I will be staying yet.... )

No idea about stores in Chi - but I thought you can ask members from the area to drop it at the reception, if they have a chance and the stores don't deliver.

Other than this - if it's a really nice hotel they will probably send someone from the hotel to get it for you, as a guest service?

I am happy to deliver to your hotel, but better yet, why don't you come on up to Lake County and see how soaps are made..... you can also do a sniff or two...
