Since I tried and really liked the Figaro Gold after shave.(small bottle) I thought I would try the shave soap.
I had hoped the scent matched the AS. While it did not. It is not a bad scent. The oud wood scent is, I would say of "medium" strength.
It makes a lather relatively easy.
Glide and protection IMHO is less than acceptable.
I used this several times. And employed different methods to build lather. Since different soaps require varying approaches to achieve desired results.
Each time my post shave feel was not to my standards. This is just my opinion. And results are very subjective.
This will be used up as a bath soap. YMMV.
For now my rotation of soaps will remain with tried and true heavy weights: Tabac, C&S 88, Vito's, Dr. Harris and Mama Bears.
