Penhaligons Bowls
I went and picked up 2 of these the other week from an outlet store for £24 each in bowls.

I had a good smell of them in the store, really nice smelling stuff. I'm going to do a test shave with it when I get the chance this week.
What I wanted to know is does anyone use the bowls, and do they react badly to water? I don't want to lather up using the bowl to find out they soak up water, or swell ect. If they do I'll find something else to drop the soap into.Real name, Blake

I have the sartorial in the wood bowl and have had it for a couple years now with no deterioration. it's a quality bowl kind of mid range. Not junky like the Harris Bowls but not like the Acca Kappa Wood Bowls which are super premium.
The sartorial is a heavenly scent by the way and their soaps are top tier all the way.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

I've had my Sartorial soap in a bowl for almost two years and the bowl is still in excellent condition.
Enjoy!

Awesome! I'm going to test the Satorial tomorrow then Looking forwards to having a play with these soaps. I've heard good things about them! And for the money I expect the best.
You mention the Harris bowls been a bit naff, Now the thing is the gen3 Penhaligons bowls look identical. I'll pop a picture up later and make sure I have the same bowls as you guys.Last edited by Iceni; 02-22-2017 at 10:11 AM.
