    Default Best bay rum soap?

So I have to admit I have over 20 soaps but am yet to have a bay rum. I have captains choice aftershave cat o nine tails and enjoy that so I thinks about time I find a mate for it. Double pun there.

So I prefer soaps but am always open to creams but just wondering people's top recommendation. Have heard good things about the captains choice and also mikes naturals bay rum.

Check out Ogallala Bay Run (Ogallala Bay Rum) as they have regular bay rum, other bay rum scents plus aftershaves, etc. all at reasonable prices. I have only tried the straight bay rum and love it, nice, rich creamy lather and very spicy scent.

Green mountain soaps makes a spiced rum. Goes well with Captains Choice cat o nine tails. And lasts quite a while.
Works best if you soak it a bit before each use. Its a hard triple milled puck.

Tremonia makes a bay rum soap. A great performer and scent too.

I've been using Dr. Jon's Anne Bonny for a while now and I like their take on bay rum. I should note that this is a vegan soap so no tallow but I get a good lather and I enjoy the scent, not bad for a soap I bought on a whim because it was on sale.

I should note that the bay rum isn't Mrs. Ripper's favorite scent so it's been seeing light duty as of late.

Another vote for this one. The name is Moroccan Rhasool, but it smells just like bay rum. Great stuff.

No, they have a specific Bay Rum soap now. A very pure and true bay rum scent.

Their scents are very different. I have several and I describe them as adult scents, not flowery or syrupy. The dark limes is more like a bitter lime.

Mystic Water is the most unique interpretation of Bay Rum that I have ever tried. Nothing like the ubiquitous ones available.
I have to admit that I am quite addicted to it and it might be the best scent of any shaving soap, for whatever reasons that are inexplicable to me.
