    Default Seville

I would like to start off by saying that I am in no way affiliated with Barrister and Mann and this is solely an opinion...mine:

Barrister and Mann Seville has got to be the best dang soap on the planet. Granted, I do have limited soap experience so, a grain of salt is needed. The soaps I have compared it to are DR Harris Arlington, Crabtree and Evylen Indian Sandalwood, Klar LemonGrass, Fine Snake Bite, Mitchell's Wool Fat, Van Der Hagen (that's right...I said Van Der Hagen), and AoS Sandalwood cream.

Obviously we all have our opinions, likes and dislikes but for me, this soap has it all. It has great lather, cushion, and longevity. I am not sure if the combination of tallow and lanolin is the key (sort of like combining Harris and Mitchell's together) I would compare it closely with the cream as far as lather but what really knocks it out of the park for me is the scent. I am by no means a scent guy but for some reason this stuff is awesome.

The hard part is giving all the other soaps a proper test because every time I shave, I reach for the Seville. Question is, are all their other soaps just as good?

Yes, they are. And I wholeheartedly agree with you that soaps do not get any better than B&M. You won't find many others that will say that. But I have used a lot of different soaps and creams, some at significantly higher prices, and they simply are not as good. Also, check out their Latha soaps. They are scented rather simply and priced exceptionally low. They perform great. Check out some other soaps but ask yourself if they are performing as well as B&M. I use them almost exclusively for a reason.
