Thanked: 1SOTD: Henri et Victoria Nautilus soap and balm
SOTD: Henri et Victoria WARNING!!! Lock it up gents, I've caught my wife helping herself to it : ( . I am very fortunate to live nearby this Quebecois Artisan and met him to obtain some of his soap line. Today I tried Nautilus. I obtained this soap and balm from Claude Pilon along with two other scents Duc de Santal and Falls Lumberjack. The lather: very easy to obtain, it is thick, rich and provides ample lubrication (I use a glycerin based pre shave oil). Very little soap was required to generate a three pass shave session. The scent wasn't what I was expecting (not really sure what I was expecting) in the soap but the balm was quite enjoyable and I suppose that is where the real scent comes in. Now the reason for the warning; my Missus and I are watching Netflix last night and I can smell something really nice off her. I assumed she was at one of the fancy ladies parfum places in the city and picked up something new so I asked her what it was. She replies "that lovely hand lotion in your bathroom, you know in the little blue bottle"...... So after a moment to compose myself and silently thinking "WTF" my outside voice was "Honey that is an expensive shave balm..... for guys!" Terrific product Claude, thank you! I'm wondering about the potential of spouse proof lids though. Equipment: Koraat 8/8 full hollow and a Thater best badger brush.Last edited by VanGogh; 05-29-2017 at 01:10 AM.

The "Nautilus" is my current favorite.
I found out that Claude has developed a triple milled formula in this scent that should be available any day now.S.L.A.M.,.......SHAVE LIKE A MAN!!!
Not like a G.I.R.L. (Gentleman In Razor Limbo)
