Thread: Making your own soap?

Does anyone make their own soap? My GF occasionally makes her own scented soaps and such, and she's just ordered a bunch of stuff to make some. Figured I might pinch a bit and see if I can make my own. Any ideas?

I have not, but absolutely plan to, so I will be watching this thread. I did run across a recipe that seemed legit the other day. I'll see if I can find it again. If I remember correctly it was taking from a book about straight razors. I might be lying to you... I'll find it and post it in here.
