    Default Soap goes dry before I finish

    I have been using a puck of SCS Bayberry I picked up from someone on another board. It seems to dry out quickly -- much too quickly for my novice straight shaves. The Muehle-Pinsel soap that I also use lasts longer, but it also needs "refreshing" before I finish. Any suggestions for soaps that keep their moisturizing/lubricating properties longer? (I notice even Lynn in his video has to relather before he finishes.)
