Thread: Ingram's shave cream first impression

Been wanting to try this inexpensive English shaving cream for some time and finally got around to it this morning. Bottom line, it gave me a nice 4 pass straight razor shave using cold water and a boar brush to face lather with. I have read other reviews where people have describe the scent as Brylcreem like and I suppose I get a bit of that. Not an unpleasant scent by any means. It has a nice hit of menthol too. It lathers easily producing a slick thick lather like a shave cream is supposed to. At $6.75 CAD = $5.30 USD it is economical and around half that in the UK from what I have read. At first blush it is an unpretentious workman like shave cream that does the job well. Glad I gave it a go and will be keeping it around.
