I've never been a Proraso fan, and considered it a Tier 2 cream at best, when compared to many other creams. However, Shaun now has me hooked on Single Blade, after he was kind enough to send me a generous portion of Wood & Spice. Single Blade seems to be a very much improved formula over the regular Proraso creams, and is slick enough to please any straight razor shaver. I'm now enjoying all three scents, as I was able to find smaller travel tubes for a reasonable price from a Greek site. Wood & Spice is a strong scent which also seems to be polarizing, although I like it, possibly because it's not "a modern scent for the younger man," something I don't have to worry about. The other two scents are much lighter. I'm not sure what Azur Lime smells like as it's not lime, but very pleasant, as is Cypress & Vetiver. I don't think any of the scents are anything to write home about, and it's the excellent performance of these creams that will keep them in my rotation. Shaun is a very skilled enabler.

I still have only the azure lime.
Agreed, the scent is light and pleasant.
What does an azure lime smell like?
I have used mine a few times with great results.
Creams are just easy.
Been on a MDC jag.
When I go to something else off using MDC, I seem to do better as in getting that consistency on other things.
Have not had any issues with the Single Blade at all.
Great stuff!
Pretty much saving it for summer.
The balm is very nice as well.Last edited by sharptonn; 02-17-2018 at 02:24 AM.

Thanked: 31I've gotten and shaved with both the Cypress & Vetiver and the Wood & Spice and they are both a big improvement in both performance and scent over the original tried-and-true Proraso. The shave cream and balm combo leave a very much improved post-shave feel. At first, I thought the matching cologne seemed overpriced for what I thought was a relabeled Proraso after shave, but was pleasantly surprised both by the fragrance and how long they lasted.

Just tried the Proraso Single Blade Azure Lime.
Like it a lot. Good in all aspects.
Will be getting the Wood and Spice version after trying the Lime.
The previous posts were right on. This is a nice addition to my soap rotation.
