    I don't know but was told to put it in the fridge and I had the room there.

    Maybe you should experiment with half and half and let us know if you see a difference.

    Or maybe thirds and put some under the sink.

    Freezing is dangerous because emulsions can separate. google-fu emulsions.

    Cella is the most rancid-prone soap that I know of, turning in about 3-4 months at best - tub or brick. But a years-old brick I have in the fridge is snow white - last time I checked not long ago.

    Best advice for all soaps for the long term, cool and dark but not freezing.

    I have had a puck of Cella in the bathroom for at least a year now: no problems.
