Thanked: 38NuĂvia Nera on its way
Oh boy, oh boy...NuĂvia Nera and Barrister & Mann Seville on its way. Yes, I am just as excited by the Seville as I am about the Nera. In my opinion, you could switch the prices and I would drop the same coin on the Seville. (Psst, don’t tell the company). Great stuff.
Not sure about the Nuavia as this is a new scent but I loved the Verde. Also, I am one of those guys that justifies the cost based on how long the product lasts. I still have half a jar of the NuĂvia that I bought a year ago and that encludes about 2 months when that’s all I shaved with.
Anyone have the Nera yet?Brandon- horses have the temperament of a house cat...a 1,200 pound, frightened cat, with a brain the size of a piece of bubble gum.

Thanked: 556I bought the Nera and LOVE it.
Great lather, nice cushion, wonderful scent thatlast long after the shave and a great face feel that seems to go all day.
It’s not cheap, but after two months of shaving, the amount in the beautiful ceramic jar hasn’t seemed to diminish very much. It will last a long time.
I have Baume.be which compares very favourably in all respects, except for scent. Where NuĂvia has a great scent that lasts a long time without being overwhelming or cloying, Baume.be has very little scent and it becomes unnoticeable shortly after shaving.
As I mentioned in another thread, if I could only have these two shaving soaps, I’d be very happy. Oh, and maybe Cyril L. Salter Sandalwood and TOBS Sandalwood and ...David

Thanked: 31I agree wholeheartedly on the NuĂvia Nera, outstanding performer, nice scent, great post-shave feel. And, as David said, the soaps are remarkably long lasting. Of all the Italian soaps in my den the NuĂvias are my favorite. The initial price is high, but between the beautiful ceramic container, the longevity, and most of all the performance, I think they're a bargain.
