Thread: First Shave With Castle Forbes

Today I shaved with Castle Forbes Lavender Shave Cream for the first time. I used my new Thater 4125/6 B brush and my NOS Puma #89 6/8.

I have always been a soap guy but I have to admit I was very impressed with the Castle Forbes Lavender. I put a slightly smaller than an almond amount in a bowl and my very large brush whipped up a thick lather just enough to do two passes.

My new rotation now is MDC, Castle Forbes, Tabac, and L’Occitane Cade.

I will have 4 Pumas in my razor rotation along with Two Dovos, and a Case.

I’ve never before used a pre shave but I have ordered two. TOBS Jermyn and Castle Forbes. I have Parkinsons and I don’t have much trouble with tremors, my hands are sometimes a little shaky, I need all the help I can get. Anyway, I’ll give em a try.
