Default Second Shave With Castle Forbes Cream

My second Shave this morning with Castle Forbes Lavender was great. I used roo much product and had lather everywhere. I’d be very surprised if there is a soap or cream that makes more lather that Castle Forbes. I’ve been a soap guy but I’m impressed with Castle Forbes.

Try Cyril R Salter. Suds galore. Easy to lather, exploding lather and excellent cream for the price. My favorite being the vetiver. Of course my softened water might help some. I actually get more lather with CRS as with CF but it's very close.

I have tried castle forbes lime (originally had cedarwood I think but decided to swap it for lime) and I usually end up making to much lather as well. Usually I use hard soap and first time trying forbes cream I definitely made way to much lather haha. Better with it now though

    Gentlemen,

Castle Forbes shave cream is pure magic. I have used it for many years, and plan to take it with me into the next century. I use Castle Forbes as the benchmark in judging all shave creams. Good stuff.

Also, Max is right about Cyril Salter shave cream: it does make a rich lather, and you can't beat the price for the overall quality. I have the Indian Sandalwood and the Rose.
