An odd name, but from my home state of New South Wales I enjoy using Whispers From The Woods. Really good stuff.

In my area it would be VDH, Williams, or JM Fraser’s. I have tried some of the local artisans but they are all hand soap in puck form. I get good shaves from the prior 3 mentioned so I would be OK.

I live in Vancouver, BC, and I believe Soapy Bathman is in an adjacent city, around 20 minutes away. This would be the 'local' soap I would use if I had to. Unfortunately, I have never tried it as they don't sell samples.

At the drug store here it’s Williams, Vanderhagen, Maybe a tube of Palmolive cream or Nivea Gel
