This is our local Dutch stuff. I didn't like it. It was the soap I started wet shaving with, dries out very quickly.

When it comes to stuff that I can get from retailers I have the rather regular options of:
VDH
Creamo
Art of Shaving
Whatever the repackaged Proraso is called that Bath and Bodyworks sells.

I'm not a huge fan of any of these but I'm lucky enough to have Sudsy Soapery and Chatillon Lux in the area and would likely be using nothing but those products.

So my local shave shop has them all. So I would never be without a good variety. They are about twenty minutes drive. They make their own so truly local is Esbjerg so you know I would be in such a terrible plight...of too many choices still.

A mall a few miles from me has an AOS store, Bath&BodyWorks, L'Occitane, and Crabtree & Evelyn, and local pharmacies have Pré de Provence.

It all depends on how you define "local". I live in the suburbs of Chicago. I have an AOS store about 20 miles away and Mertz Apothacary/Q Brothers/Smallflower is about 40 miles away. Furthermore, Oleo Soapworks is in Chicago. And for brushes, TurnNShave is located in Chicago as well. There is even a Truefitt & Hill store in the Chicago Loop.

However, I have yet to visit either of these locations. I prefer to order online and avoid the Chicago traffic.

We have an Art of Shaving here in Nashville. There is also a local artisan, Music City Suds. Their shaving soap base is very good. Some of their scents aren't for me. I've heard that Nivea is pretty good and have seen that here.
