Thanked: 25Martin De Candre Rose?
I saw Martin De Candre Rose on their website. It said limited edition. WTH I ordered some. It’s higher than original scent. $84 bucks! My old lady is going to kill me.
Has anyone tried it? Do you like the scent?

Well after she kills you have her send it to me since you won't be needing it.

Before I tried MDC Rose I would have bet money that I wouldn't like it at all.
We'll, I would have been dead wrong...I have been using it since it was introduced and absolutely
love it.

I have some, a generous sample from my friend Tc. I like it on occasion.
As they add scents and such, it might change the base of the soaps a bit.
It might be me, but the lather from the original scent seems a bit better.
Even the Argumes seems right there with the original....To me.
It may be that I am using it sparingly as I have so much more of the others. Probably it!
Anyone else?
The ones I have are all tremendous. You cannot go wrong with the stuff, IMO.

Thanked: 25I’d probably send someone a jar of Castle Forbes Cedarwood Sandalwood. Have used one almond size dollop for one shave. Love the Lavender.

I found the rose to be a little misleading. I thought it would be a flowery scent, like my grandma's perfume. However, it's much more of a "black pepper-y" scent, definitely a top scent in my book and the lady loves it. That's always a big win.

I haven't noticed any difference in performance between each of the MdC scented soaps. I have a large rose garden, and therefore enjoy rose scented shaving soaps, and this is a a very nice one. You can't beat the performance.
