Perhaps that's because CF Cedarwood and Sandalwood is SO GOOD that many/most who are interested in it ALREADY HAVE IT! I know it's true for me

Anyway, I'm glad you were able to find a good home for it.

    Smooth shaving!

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

A big thank you to Legman!!

The soap will soon have a good home.

I have heard and seen a few comments over time about people not liking the Cedarwood - Sandalwood scent. Personally, I really like it. I also love it's legendary CF performance.

I don’t smell much sandalwood, although to be fair, since nobody uses real sandalwood anymore I guess I don’t know what real sandalwood smells like. But I love the cedar smell, it takes me to my happy place, west coast forest!

I'm another Cedarwood and Sandalwood fan. It does seem to get more negative press than the other scents. However, until 1445 came along, it was my favorite scent. I do like woody scents, and I probably like it because it's predominately Cedarwood rather than Sandalwood. I have too many sandalwood scented soaps from other soap makers, and enjoy something different for a change.

I try to avoid it like the plague. It dries out my skin like cardboard. Interesting enough I piffed it to my neighbor who loved it but 6 months later asked me for another shaving cream as he was complaining about his skin drying out. I never told him the reason I gave it away. The scent reminded me of sawdust.

I must have missed that thread. Sounds like it went to someone that will really appreciate it so it turned out all right! I like the smell of Sandalwood/Cedar but it isn't my favorite soap scent. Sound great though. Not familiar with Castle Forbes, but I've only used two soap brands so far.

    Thanks for PIF Legman.
