Thread: Crabtree & Evelyn West Indian Lime Re-formulation

Just a shout out there. Tried the recently re-formulated hard soap "West Indian Lime" and it was a similar performer to the other fragrances in their line-up, again. The "new" formulation (which has an ingredient list much more in line with their other fragrances) is now back to actually lathering well and holding its own like the others, thank goodness. I just gave myself a decent shave with a thrice used 15 cent double edge safety razor in the 'ole Weishi TTO and it was okay. It wasn't after a shower but I left the lather on for awhile and got the whiskers mildly softened and had a few nicks but the blood loss didn't persist long. Followed up with an alcohol after shave for sting test/evaluation and it wasn't so bad. The de-habituation to the menthol AS* was nice and I enjoyed the cool theme for the summer weather and was off to a bright new day. Happy, clean shaven and refreshed.

Unfortunately there is some of the old new formula still out there. This third formula is not too bad though.
