Thread: Knightsbridge shaving cream

I stumbled upon a tub of Knightsbridge Charcoal Shaving Cream in a small store. It was only $18.95 CAD for a 6 oz jar, so I bought in on a whim.

Turns out it provided a very nice shave and I was pleasantly surprised with the scent - I had been looking for a charcoal shaving soap for a while. The lather formed nicely after face lathering with an Omega boar brush. It was thick and moist and provided really good protection and a nice face feel after the shave was over. Some folks might not like the lingering scent, for which I am having trouble putting a description together.

There are 4 other scents in this line, which claims to be made in England, but their website indicates offices in the US and Canada and gives no address in the UK.

Has anyone else tried any of the Knightsbridge shaving products? They seem to be quite economical and this one, at least, gave me a very nice shave.

I have never heard of this brand until now, and definitely haven’t seen it anywhere, but yea, that charcoal intereges me! Thanks for the heads-up. I’ll keep an eye out.
