Thanked: 98Show me your cans!
Noticed that many of us get strapped for time. As a result of my traveling a lot last year, having a toddler running around, and expecting another wee one in the spring I found myself drawn to cans and "convenience" creams and foams. This took me through a fun bout of CSFAD (Can Shave Foam Acquisition Disorder).
My wife said that there had to be others who would like opinions about can froth as we aren't the only busy people. A recent post really got me thinking it was time for a good place to bring these products together for review.
So show me your cans...I guess tubs and and tubes are appropriate too.
My first recommendation is for this...
Yves Rocher can shave foam. It has a great glide and cushion. Pleasant scent and leaves my face in good shape.

Acca Kappa has some pretty decent foam in a can.
They have one for every Scent / Line they carry.

My guess is you won't see too many folks in these parts using canned foam. I know there are some outfits that make high end foam product but it kind of goes against the whole wet shaving thing.
I'm not sure it saves that much time. A good synthetic brush that dries very fast and a lid on a soap dish and it can be pretty fast.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Thanked: 3225I am trying to recall when I used canned foam last it was that long ago as in 20 odd years. I just can't see ever using it again when a Palmolive shave stick and an inexpensive Omega boar brush are about as quick to use and better too.

Two of my “brushless“ creams that I use when traveling. I used to bring a brush and a shave stick when I went out on business but I found it much easier to leave the brush at home especially when staying just a few days in a hotel with hard water. There are no rules to be broken in wet shaving. I’m sure this threatens some people who feel they need to justify having a $300 brush and $100 shave soap but I use those things because I like to not necessarily because it is so much better. I don’t need to justify that and when I’m out on a business trip I use these creams and I don’t need to justify that. I do it because it is much easier and I really like them.

Ive used the stick, jar, can, bowl, tub but not a can or tube. I can see the tube working well for travel without a brush, but the propelant in a can dries your skin from my understanding. I could be wrong but i havent used a can sense i put down the blue plastic cart.
It's just Sharpening, right?
