Thread: Ariana and Evans Summer Fig

I liked the lather from this soap much better than WK. I also really liked the scent, but my wife thought it was too strong and perfumy. Her exact words were "It smells like it came out of a pink bottle of kids bubble bath".

Another top tier soap bites the dust.

There should be a thread regarding the scents that our wive's dislike and those that they enjoy. I tend to shave with one set of soaps, aftershaves, and colognes on weekends, when we're together all day, and another set that I use during the week as I leave the house very early before others are awake. Most soap scents are gone by the time I get to the office, so mostly I'm using the scents I enjoy during the shave.

I really thought that I had a winner here. I got the same great lather from this scent. This is the type of lather that I really like, kind of light and plenty slick, with excellent post shave feel. I liked the scent even more than the Summer Fig. I washed my face and used witch hazel after the shave in the hopes of passing the SWMBO test. I thought that I had her won over, until she walked into the bathroom. After that it was hopeless.

I know what you guys are thinking, but my wife does have the nose of the household. Many times she talks about scents, good or bad, that I can't smell at all. I can barely smell that stuff that they add to natural gas.
