    Default For MdC Fans...

The rose, agrumes, and vetiver are showing on their site. There’s also a better version of the English language version of the site.

    Cheers, Steve

Thanks for the tip, Steve. I received their mail notification yesterday. It's about time Martin de Candre made its site friendlier to us pilgrim who don't read French. Now, should I order more soaps or not? Well, why not? I figure I'll have enough soaps and creams to last me till 2075. A fellow just can't be sure . . .

TC, my friend, you are a philosopher, an oracle, and you have reminded me to get off my arse and order some more Martin de Candre, as I am down to almost an empty jar. OY!

I couldn’t resist and got the Citrus showing up today. Looking forward to tomorrow’s shave!

Huge fan of MdC. I didn't however enjoy the scent of Argumes, far too much of a citronella note to my liking. I also found the newer; Rose and Vetyver to be of a softer consistency than the Original and Fougere. A little goes a long way with MdC.

    Gentlemen,

The Martin de Candre original scent is still my favorite. I liked it from the first lather some years ago. My two newest scents, rose and Fougere, don't impress me, although they're still acceptable. I am getting used to the scents, I might add, but when gone, they will stay so. The original scent, though, by now is carved into the shave den.
