MDC is one of the famous soaps that I've never tried. I'm going to try to beg a sample off of someone at the Texas meet.

Tom sends me a chunk from his brain bowl getting me hooked on MdC after a handful of shaves. Then I meet John who's skin has sensitivity with certain soap ingredients, so I passed the barely dented sample his way which eventually lead to his purchase.

Now John offers to bring some samples of MdC down to TX to further infect you fellas with Tom certainly not interfering. This is how the MdC virus extends its hold on unsuspecting wet shavers....

    You have been warned fellas!

Agree. It's addictive. After I tried the fougere I immediately got the vetiver as well.
    Money well spent.

What i enjoy the most about MDC besides the quality of the soap is the fact that it doesnt take much. I keep cutting back on the amount used and i still end up with more lather than needed left in the bowl. And I bet ive given away more than ive used. I bought 2 jars over a year ago and i see it lasting a couple more years. But i do like to use other soaps. Just MDC always works exactly like the way a shave soap should.
    It's just Sharpening, right?

Tried the MDC this morning. Good stuff. I got a lemony scent from what I think is original, very nice. The soap does seem very efficient, I used very little of the sample. Thanks John!

I haven't tried it yet but my wife smelled it and says it reminds her of Noxema.

I got 8 great shaves out of the estimated 1.5 cc sample that John gave me. Still a smear left, but less than a shave. Good stuff.
