Soap Marketing
I saw this soap mentioned in SOTD and laughed so I had to check out their site.
With me I understand in a niche market you want your product so somehow stand out but this has hit my all time low.

This could "possibly" be the best soap on the market but I seriously doubt it because of the B.S. style marketing. I know I will never try it.
Sort of a patent medicine show.
What are your thought or experiences?

Thanked: 292I have a LOT of soaps in my den and I try new ones each month. I have two of the most popular Chiseled Face scents: Ghost Town Barber and Sherlock. I like the performance of the soaps. They are solid performers: easy to lather, excellent slickness, decent cushion, great post-shave conditioning. A year or two ago, the CF soaps would have been as good as any on the market, but several artisans have improved their products in the past year, so the CF formula is no longer in the "best" category, at least not by my ratings.
Unfortunately, the CF scents are not my style.
CF does make a number of soaps in conjunction with Zoologist Perfumes, just as Declaration Grooming works with Chatillon Lux. The Zoologist versions of CF soaps are twice the price of the normal CF scents, so I am not inclined to try them.
