Thanked: 0Trumpers coral skin food - not pink
I recently purchased some Trumpers coral skin food from a store which specializes in mens shaving products. This one was not sealed which was not a big deal for me but it is more of a cream color and not pink as I have seen from pictures on the web. Has anybody else ever seen this? As I had never used coral (love the lime), I cannot do the "smell test" to ensure it is coral skin food. Thanks in advance for your replies.

The coral skin food should be bright pink when new and have a very strong, sweet rose scent.
Trumpers makes a white moisturizer - but this is fragrance free.
Here's a link to the pics of the coral, lime and moistuirzer:

It's probably been left in the sun. I left a bottle of Coral skin food on the top shelf in my bathroom which is in full view of the velux roof window, so it gets sunlight all day long. Over a period of months the pink colour faded away more and more until it ended up looking pure white. It still smelled just the same, and it worked the same too so I think it's just the colour being affected, but I've heard sunlight does nasty things to perfumes etc so I ended up throwing mine out.
Regarding the smell test, the Coral skin food should have a lovely smell of roses, and mine still had this long after it faded. If it doesn't smell of roses maybe you got skin moisturiser instead, in the wrong bottle?

Exposure to light, not just sunlight, will cause the color to change. My bathroom does not have a window in it, and my Skin Food has definitely changed colors. No impact on performance, just the color.
