What is the nicest shaving soap out there, in terms of performance? Your opinions?

I know everybody goes for those expensive european soaps but KKcoogle, an ebay seller makes and sells really great smelling soaps. They lather really thick and last a long time. The bay rum is good.

Glycerin soap? Hard to beat Colleen's products (The Gentlemen's Quarter). Triple milled? Geo. F. Trumper's is great, as is Truefitt & Hill.

Trumpers and MWF/Kent are both great hard soaps.
Mama Bear and QED both make great glycerine soaps - I find I get better results from the QED shave sticks than the tubs.

Thanked: 9I would have to go with Tabac here. Buy it from QEDusa.com
Had issues with GFT Lavender, and it ended up as bath soapVery mild and good for my skin, but lather and performancce was just plain bad. Will try the Rose now and hope I'm not disappointed again.
I love the scent of Nomad (C&E). L'Occitane is quite nice, too. I am also very satisfied with Honeybee Sue's Chamomile Shea Butter on the 'bay. I have tried a bunch of others and wasn't too satisfied - but there are still others I need to test, and I am looking forward to it
Cheers

I hate to be boring but I'd say Proraso green has become my favourite, followed closely by Tabac, Barbus, and QED Mocha Jave shave sticks.
