Thread: New batch of soaps to try

The mailman brought me some new soaps today.

Saturday Morning by Catie's Bubbles
King of Bourbon by Wholly Kaw

and some samplers

Grapfruit and Necromantic by Southern Witchcraft
Avocado by Taylor of Old Bond Street.

I'm super stoked to try the King of Bourbon later today. The Necromantic as a super super odd scent, I'm curious to see how it smells once its lathered up. Grapfruit smells delicious. Avocado smells good but might be a bit too floral for my taste. Saturday Morning smells just like fruit loops cereal so It'll be a nice change of pace soap. PSYCHED to try them all!

Nice soaps there. I'm a big Wholly Kaw fan-boy, so that King of Bourbon just got added to my list!

Thanks! My first foray into these brands. I wasn't sure how I would like the smell of the Wholly Kaw after smelling it straight out of the tub but fell in love with it during and especially post shave. Highly recommend!

I just made my first purchase from Catie's Bubbles last week. The 'Connecticut Shade'. First impressions opening the jar, i thought it smelled way too sweet. I was looking for something closer to Grand Havana which can no longer be found.
After many 're-smells' the scent is beginning to grow on me. Still need to shave with it though..

I tried the Wholly Kaw Fougere Bouquet a few weeks ago as well. Didnt like it in the jar but on the face the lather smells just like Brut, and if you know me, or have heard my wife complaining.. i really love Brut. Soap performed very well.

I love the WK Fougere Bouquet, and my current favorite is Vetivertal. I haven't tried them all yet.

Yep I know exactly what you mean about not being sure about the smell out of the container. Definitely better on the face!
