Corner store is pretty much obsolete since they figured out how to fit 10 cents of soap in a 2 dollar can..
Arko is the best value for money, but you have to buy it online.

I love de Verguilde Hand soap.
    Does everything very well.
    Very enjoyable European scent.
Supposed to be the oldest in the world.
I buy it on eBay from a seller in the Netherlands.
    6 tubs for $38.50
With S/H it works out to a little more than $9.00 a tub
Not at the "corner store" but well worth the effort.

Their shave stick is also excellent and comes in a neat art deco container.

I love that soap too. The scent is truly awesome. I am mainly into lime and or citrus, but this soap is cheap and it is very good too. I still have enough former coworkers that they drop one in the mail when they visit.
