Based on reviews here, I got a tub of T.O.B. Street Sandalwood. Great soap!

If you haven't tried it yet, Castle Forbes is hard to beat, in the category of croaps/soft soaps.

If your interested in hard, puck type soaps
Then you'd better check the "Fine", line of soaps.

I wanted to add, in a wooden tub, $29 best price I found.

I will just say... There are so many better soaps available than TOBS. But if you want low cost and a wood bowl...

Just saying to look around and check out our soap threads. Obie has put a lot of time into testing and reviewing a lot of different soaps and has shared all this info.
a wood bowl is not a big deal to most folks but if you like them then you go ahead. I like my soap in a plastic tub that seals.
To each their own, as it's said. I think I have 4 empty wooden soap bowls from my past. on the display shelf.

Thanks , but until I use up the two Mamma Bear pucks and the T.O.B Street. I'm on the wagon. Not going down the soap 'rabbithole' again.
    Cheers,

Wow, 3 soaps, it must be a nightmare to decide which one to use next

Mamabear is a little high on my list. I'd say it's the best Glycerin soap made. I think I have 4 of those myself.

Well, damn! I haven't used anything but Mama Bears Dragons blood for three years. Got coaxed into trying some T.O.B Street Sandalwood. Its good, but I do still have two pucks of Mama Bears. The only reason I bought the puck w/ wood bowl was because my pewter quaiche is full of Dragons' Blood. Both are great! Both are different!

If someone asked me what soaps to buy and they didn't want to experiment I'd tell them to buy a tub of MDC and another of Castle Forbes. You really can't do much better than that.
