    Default It's back!

    Well, kind of.

One of my all time favorite soaps/creams Meisner Tremonia has been MIA in the States for some time now. For some reason they won't export them.

I found a source in Greece. The shipping was steep but I stocked up so I'm set for years now.

It's great stuff. The lather just explodes and the scents are what I call adult scents and it's top tier stuff. If you should ever be in Germany or Europe in general pick some up.

Yes, Meißner Tremonina is quite good, but I have so many soaps and creams that after my initial and a follow-up order I haven’t ordered from them in a long time.
This was partly because we were moving overseas, had to ship all our belongings in two containers, and I had to reduce my shaving stash considerably.

My two orders were directly from Meißner Tremonina, but one other source is Gifts & Care that quite a few of us may already be familiar with. If I remember correctly, Meißner Tremonina used glass containers, which because of weight is at an obvious disadvantage when shipping.

Trying to find it in a brick and mortar store in Europe, will be difficult as - no matter how good their products are - Meißner Tremonina has only a limited market penetration. I was under the impression that Meißner Tremonina used to include a list of stores that sell their products on their website, but could not find it anymore.

Strangely enough, their website states: “We ship worldwide with the exception of the USA.”
Wonder what happened there, but such decisions are sometimes driven by liability and tort laws in the U.S.

They said they couldn't ship to the U.S because of some of the ingredients and customs laws but that's bogus.

Australia also is not on their list of shipping destinations. I have sent two emails to them making enquiries but have not received a reply to either. I purchased my Meissner Tremonia soap through Gifts & Care.

Looks like 11 scents. Which have you acquired?

I got; wild oranges, warm woods, lavender, lime, himalayan heights and the sea sage A/S Balm. It's the cream not the soap. I've only used it a couple times so far so I'm still finessing it.

Oh man! Sounds like another awesome rabbit hole. Enjoy that for me, Spendur!
I seem to have more soaps than I will ever use!
I AM a sucker for Lime, though.....
